Bruins @ Maple Leafs - Dec. 2nd, 7:00pm - SN, Fan 590

I know Pastrnak has a great shot and it might have been deflected but Woll has to stop that with the way the Leafs were playing.  Deflating to control the play and have that shot go in.

I have to keep reminding myself to give Timmins more time but man has he been awful.
Patience...he's trying to catch up...

I'm not sure what everyone expects from all these cast offs that get released by other teams. Plain and simple they are fill ins. Average D at best and I'm not just talking Timmins.

Ou est Matthews?

Leafs get a couple of chances....puck goes to the point and Timmins throws it to the corner where the Leafs have the disadvantage going back for the puck and it ends the offensive pressure.  He keeps making questionable puck decisions.

Why don't they just eliminate hitting in this league? Was that late? Was it boarding? You get rid of the puck and you have to expect possibly getting hit and I hate players turning their body when they know the hit is coming. Shouldn't be boarding when dumb as* players turn and get hit on the numbers.

I wish the Leafs used a little quicker puck movement on the PP like this at times.  Sometimes it feels like there is too much hold and passes back and forth that don't pull the defense toward the pass and free up shooting lanes.

Is Boston ever positionally sound. Leafs outshot them, but it's as if they completely suffocated the Leafs from any quality chances.

That wasn't a terrible goal on Woll but he's given up a few questionable ones.  Hard as we are on Samsonov, we let Woll slide a bit.

They played well that period. But hockey loves it's puck luck, so they're down 1-0.
They played a good period ..didn't give up much. Woll needed that one.
