He lost a few draws late after being awesome earlier in the game. Maybe just a bit of fatigue because he battled to get that EN goal.

He threw a few good hits and was stealing pucks. That was like 80% of peak Matthews for big stretches of the game

I agree. I thought he was better than when he went down with reinjury but not 100%
 
Chris Cuthbert with the Captain Obvious point of the night saying maybe Knies feels more comfortable playing with Matthews as his center. I can just see Knies asking Berube for more time with Kampf
