The disadvantage the Conservatives have now is:

a) short election time - less time to try and brainwash followers
b) Trump has scared all Canadians on both sides of the spectrum, people more likely to choose candidate least like Trump.
 
I don't think that's really all that bad. I agree with the analysts, she's allowed to have a political opinion. That said; she's awful. My bro lives in Edmonton and tells me all the shit she and her party does. Just ridiculous.

On that note: I really can't understand my MACA™ friends. All they do is cry about how the Liberals have ruined us (despite most of them making around $100k with no financial worries at all), but when I've asked them how the Conservatives are going to fix "things", all I hear is crickets.

I can respect different political points of view, including those I just can't support, but their ideology is basically: "Trudeau was goofy and has ruined us. Also, I don't like taxes nor care if the world burns down."

Let's just call it musing out loud, rather than outright collusion. And given who she is and her position and stance on things, I did not expect any different.

The funny part is how she explicitly hitches PP's wagon to Trump's administration goals, in a time when Canadian anger towards the American government's actions continues to climb. So now a vote for the Conservatives is not really for Canada, but a vote for sedition and treason.

Edit: now to check on that Russian bot (maybe) that keeps generating AI glamour shots of her
