6. Marner: relax and just play head empty; hockey is fun and you love it, so make it fun with your buds. Embrace causing chaos because that's the source of your magic.

This. He's so good but is missing opportunities from over-thinking and hanging on to the puck too long. While his shot isn't great, it's accurate, so start putting it on the net and creating rebounds.

He is trying very hard to open up more space for Matthews, who is clearly not generating his own space for chances these past couple of games (thanks coach for playing them 25+ min all season). Marner deliberately skates into pressure to try to draw defenders to give Matthews better looks, but he's susceptible to takeaways when he kills his speed differential (again, deliberately). Just throw it on net when Matthews or Hyman is close enough to problem solve whatever Plinkos out, it doesn't always need to be a 10-bell on-the-tape one-timer.

When you have a choice between shooting the puck over the glass or *not* shooting the puck over the glass, please choose the latter option.

wuuuuut

I mean if he's ready to go....that's insane.  But I hope they aren't rushing him back simply because it's Game 7.  A hobbled Tavares is probably still better than another of the grumpy old 4th line.

Could just be a little bit of gamesmanship though.  Make it seem like he could be playing so the Habs have to think about it and then scratch him at puck drop.

I don't think that means he's playing. He hasn't had a full contact practice yet. Just gets him on the ice with the guys and hopefully gets the team a little more motivated. Win 1 game and you get your captain back next round.

Can I add a #7?

7. Campbell: Stop the goals the team needs you to stop. The breakway saves are great. The weak ones are back breakers.

Probably, yeah. An indication that he's getting closer and closer to coming back, the team just needs to make sure they do their part.

What a lazy bum perimeter player who can't take a hit and just wants money
If rather him be on the perimeter then taking a stupid goalie interference penalty..

7 is a must. He's played great but has let in too many stoppable goals. None tonight Jack!
