I think the middle ground is recognizing that some discussions are fact-based and some aren't. Not all of them have to be. But what you hope for and what you think should be different things.
It seems like in other sports, baseball for example, there is more mainstream acceptance of stats when evaluating players etc.
Is that something you think just need time to become more and more a part of the conversation in hockey?
The distinction of the what and the why is good, I like that.
