Capitals @ Maple Leafs - Dec. 28th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

This is reminding me of the Leafs last game against Washington. The Caps forecheck aggressively and our defense is too slow getting the puck moving and it leads to blind clearing attempts that get picked off and start a zone possession for the Capitals
 
This whole line is just Willy trying to make stuff happen and linemates being in the wrong spot to capitalize
 
Imagine getting checked near the benches and your face slides through all the spit and snot on that ice…

Well, like you said he's got Holmberg God love him, but more important Knies doesn't really deserve to be playing in the top 6 right now. Not that there's anyone to step in for him.
 
Tavares is money in the faceoff circle. Gave Rielly a chance to shoot a better shot than he did.

Rielly has been disappointing. He has played with better partners than 90% of his career and we aren't really seeing the offensive response. Some of it is Berube's system but he doesn't place shots wel enough for a guy who doesn't slap it
