Coaching and management changes around the league

This is the first time I can remember a Leaf ass kicking leading immediately to a departure. The presser comments by Torts were public suicide. Management had no choice based on what he said.

We used to be that terrible team that when we won the other team's coach would get fired.

That's what Boston fans say..... "When you lose to the Leafs....it's time to panic'.

And we beat them January and February of this year.... so maybe that's when the Bruins decided to throw in the towel and become sellers.

Marchand is suppose to be back this weekend so we will see him for the next two Leafs Panthers games.
 
Torts said the quiet part out loud. Torts basically said the team sucks and I'm not sure I know how to or want to learn how to coach the tear down part of a rebuild.

He continues to be a guy who confuses me. He's surprisingly more progressive on a lot of things but then also does so many stupid things. I think its time that he stops getting coaching opportunities.
 
Coaching turnover in the NHL is so great he'll probably get another shot if he wants it.
He's a shorter wick coach. Ok candidate to bring in if the season starts poorly. But he probably won't last too long.
