Wow! I always wondered when that was going to happen but he's been there so long I didn't think it'd ever happen. He's had such a meh tenure. What a waste of ten years. Looking over the rosters they've had it's beyond sad that their best, longer term players could be Boone Jenner and Cam Atkinson.

Not surprising in the least. Buffalo was terrible this season - and, while they were never likely to be good, they should have been better than they were. Their schedule finished last night, so, they didn't waste time there.

There are others out there. McLellan, Evason, Hakstol, Bruce, Woodcroft, Gallant, Grenato. I'm not picking Green out of that pile. Might be the only guy who will sign today.

Optics? I?m sure they feel like they have to at least talk to a few other people before going all in on a rookie GM.
