I got so wrapped up in watching hockey that I honestly wasn't paying that much attention to things.  How did the ice look in the 3rd.  I honestly don't remember the puck bouncing around a lot.

I read a while ago, can't remember where, the building operations people were confident in being able to keep the ice in good shape.  Keeping the A/C cranked and not having 20,000 windbags in the building keeps the temps low.

From neat shots from the stands from Kasimir Kaskisuo last night.

I fell down the rabbit hole of ice rink maintenance this morning, for funsies.

How Stuff Works | How Ice Rinks Work

I read recently, but it was hearsay in the comments of a Leaf blog, that the ACC/SBA build is sub-optimal for ice rinks; considering the complaints we've seen over the years, duh. Why didn't they 'fix' it during the COVID shutdown? Well, it would cost millions of dollars, involve a crap-ton of people, and also involve destroying, removing, and replacing a finely calibrated slab of concrete flooring that is embedded with a circuit of glycol piping; the project would have a longer timeframe than a standard NHL off-season.
