Explosions at finish line of Boston Marathon

Stay safe... Now why would they go on this spree afterwards as opposed to keeping a low profile?

Makes no sense at all..

You can't really try to apply rational reasoning to explain the actions of people who would carry out an act like Tuesday's bombing.

I would imagine they might have panicked after that FBI presser that released their pictures.

Wanted a quick score to get cash to disappear and it all spiraled out of control last night.

It is totally crazy aroudn these parts.. The two who are brothers (20 and 19) held up a 7/11 in Cambridge.. Opened gunfire killing an MIT policeman.. Then carjacked an SUV. The owner of SUV was actually let go. One of the two brothers is dead and the other is being searched for. 6 towns cannot leave home. Bus/train service shut down. I saw so many police/military vehicles on way too work. This is absolutely crazy. This is all within a 15 minute radius of my home.. Can't believe this is happening

Please stay safe, and urge those around you not to panic. This world we live in has a lot of good people in it. Try and stay positive.

Thanks.. I am good. I am at work.. I am about 20 minutes up the pike from Watertown.. I am just concerend over if there could be more associated with this kid. There may be only two who did the bombing but others that have pulled the strings..

Very true;

@AlbertBrooks 11m
Watching one 19yr old bringing an entire city to its knees is absolutely surreal

I think it's sad that this could be "mission successful" for these two.  :(

The best part about catching Tsarnaev alive is that he's probably just pretty enough for prison.

I suppose. But I'd rather not have seen the inevitable multiple trials and appeals and years of tax payers' dollars wasted and lawyer and court time tied up??..

Not to sound like an insensitive prick, but the applause and cheering by the residents on the streets after capturing the suspect made me feel an extreme sense of awkwardness.

Glad this is done and the Bostonians can continue on with their lives much more safely and normally. Can't believe these two punks paralyzed a city like Boston. The images of the city as a ghost down during the day were chilling.

Be much easier to take him out back, make him dig his hole and then shoot him twice and be done with it. They could draw straws amongst the victims familys to pull the trigger if they so desire for all i care. The gloves are off when it comes to nutbags like this that kill innocent people let alone kids.

Tho the "unflappable" USA seemed a bit flappable the past day or so and just from a couple of kids. I wonder if this gives anyone in power down there a moments pause...

You guys are making me sick.... how about we don't wave his rights to a trial and act like the good human beings we're suppose to be instead of jumping the gun and killing a person.

If we sink to their level and just go the guantonamo route then they win. We're giving into the terrorism and compromising the very things we're talking about protecting.

I truely hope that people with higher morals than yours are making the decisions about this boys life.

If he's finished his trial and found guilt by a jury of his peers and also in the state he's in the death penalty is acceptable for this crime... then by all means kill the boy. But arguing that we should save money and just kill him or worse yet.... just jump the gun and do it when theres a however small posibility that he's not responsible... just makes me weep inside.

After the shootings in Norway, when a man killed 77 people and injured many many more. The PM rightly said this.

"The bombs and bullets were intended to change Norway. The Norwegian people responded by reasserting our values," Stoltenberg said. "The perpetrator failed to achieve what he set out to do. The people triumphed."

Why can't we stick to our values? Why do so many people here want to throw them away for a little vengence.
