Should win this.

We had better win it after the flat effortless mess on thur. I hope Ott pays the price for it.

Only thing is if Anderson steals the game. Sens without Spezza and especially Karlsson should be beatable. Hope Scrivens is up to the task.

I find it funny how we aren't allowed to have one of those games. I'll take a four game winning streak and cut them some slack for a loss. You can't win em all, and it was 3-1. We've blown out opponents by far worse numbers.

It's at home. I don't think Scrivens thrives under the intense pressure of playing at the ACC and on national TV on HNIC. Sadly, I'm predicting their 2nd loss in a row.

We haven't been getting that many SOG lately and Anderson IIRC has played us pretty tough in recent years.  I think we're in tough tonight.  Grabovski and Kulemin HAVE to start stepping up.

Are they stopping the Senator fans at the ACC doors ? I guess that was a silly question to ask considering if they can find any fans to stop .

Today is the 50th Anniversary of the Leafs 1962-63 Stanley Cup winning team.  What's so special about it?  Nine Maple Leafs from that team are in the HHOF (Hockey Hall of Fame.

To many, this was one of the best, if not the best, Maple Leaf team ever.  Their accomplishments at eventually winning that year's Cup belied  their playoff performance, roaring past Montreal & Detroit each, respectively, in five games.  Not only that but Leaf captain Dave Keon amassed 12 points in 10 games, and went on to win the Lady Byng trophy that season.

(Note that at the time, the Conn Smythe trophy for playoff MVP was not in existence, otherwise, many believe Keon, with his playoff performance, would have been a shoo-in as winner).

Congratulations to that Cup-winning Leaf team.  Glory days!

Don't get me wrong hockey history is awesome but it's hard to get so reverent about teams that won in a league of just 6.  That's like making the conference finals these days...

Also does this mean I don't need to tune in until at least 7:30  :P
