Holzer and Fraser have both looked solid enough these past couple of weeks to deserve to stay as long as their play keeps up. Phaneuf and Kostka aren't going anywhere. That leaves Liles and Franson, and I've been rather impressed with Franson since he's been paired with Fraser. Gunnarsson coming in also creates a logjam on the left side, so Liles is at a disadvantage there as well.
Personally I'd like to see Kostka take a seat, he's been outplayed by the rest of the d imo.
Dion-Holzer
Franson-Fraser
Liles-Gunnar
I'd see how that goes for a little bit.
I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep over it, but I just can't see Carlyle going that way. At least not right now. Kostka is still getting the second most minutes of any defenceman, and he's not playing with Phaneuf anymore at even-strength and is even losing some of his PP1 powerplay time to Franson.
