True, but you also have to take marks away from the Leafs for not having the killer instinct - a goal on that 5 on 3 up 5-1 and we have a much different story.

That was totally stupid. And it probably wouldn't have happened if Phaneuf just skates away from Spezza. Pure genius by Spezza if he did it on purpose.

2 points but man, not a bag skate worthy performance but the Leafs showed some inexperience/lack of motivation there.

I'm trying to think of a goal that was really Reimer's fault, having a difficult time.

Yeah, there certainly weren't any that I think he absolutely should have stopped. He didn't make the big save in the 3rd, though, and, while it was fortunate that he didn't need to, that was something we got used him doing last season.

Any ways, a win's a win. That 3rd period is ugly, but, they've got a week to work on things, and this can certainly be beneficial for them in the long run.
