Game 22 - Leafs @ Bolts - Nov 22nd, 2011 - 19:30 EST

Leafs will win 6-3. Kessel gets 3 more points and continues to make it harder and harder for us to hate him. Lupul continues his march at comeback player of the year (unless that Pittsburgh fella qualifies) and Gus let's in 3. Until Reimer comes back I think Scrivens should start all road games and gus gets home starts fwiw.

I hate to say it, but 5-1 lightning. I have no faith in Gus.

How about the rest of the team, any faith there?

The team is decimated with injuries and Gus isn't very good. We've also not had much luck vs the Bolts and they're due for a big win.

I hope the Leafs win and if they do I'll be estatic. I just don't have a good feel for tonight's game.

Fair enough, I thought Jonas played fine against Washington though I confess I feared for him, still I have to put my faith in the team in a positive way and hope for the best for both short term success and long term development.

Gus played well vs Washington because Washington didn't bring their 'A' game. I don't think he was tested all that much. He made a few good saves but that was not the Caps that started the year 7-0.  :)

40 saves and no softies is fine by me and though I agree Washington wasn't dominant, the Leafs also played really well as a team.

As one who was at the game, that's garbage that Gus wasn't tested.

you didn't have to be at the game ...that was not an easy game for any goaltender ..they got a lot of amazing chances ...and gus had to be equal parts good and lucky to make sure that game was never close.  that doesn't mean he's going to play amazing now and all his problems were in the past..but anyone saying that he wasn't tested in that game..seems a little too biased against the guy

All in all the game on Saturday evening was the game I have seen the team play in a couple years. the team played as a whole, and everyone did their jobs. I hope they play the same or very samilar this evening

Dwayne Roloson gets the start tonight. He was 3-0 with a 0.98 GAA and .966 SA% against the Leafs last season. So yeah...

He's had an interesting year.  He either completely shuts the opposition down (1 shutout, 1 50 minute relief win where he made 27 saves on 27 shots, and 3 games giving up 1 goal) or he has been lit up for 4 or more.  Nothing in between.

Hopefully he starts to show his age..

I was at the game and Gustavsson made a number of very tough stops, not least of which was Ovechkin right on the doorstep.  Washington woke up at one point in the third and could have easily scored 2-3 goals with the chances they were getting.

Wasn't going to bother watching this one. Turns out I probably am now. So they better turn up or else cos it's gonna be 3am before I get to sleep and I've to be up at 6.30am

Have the lines been posted?  If not...

jonasTSN1050 Jonas Siegel
Lines vs TB:

Lupul-Bozak-Kessel.
MacArthur-Connolly-Kulemin.
Frattin-Colborne-Crabb.
Rosehill-Steckel-Dupuis.

D:
Gunnarsson-Phaneuf.
Gardiner-Schenn.
Liles-Franson.

Gustavsson starts. Scratched: Orr, Holzer.

Had to edit out Komisarek for Franson..assume Jonas just made a typo.

Tonight could be a confusing game to watch, with the Lightning now wearing jerseys that are clearly a ripoff of the Leafs home jersey, just with a slightly lighter blue.

Has anybody been watching Sportsnet games on rogersondemand.com? You used to be able to stream the games with just a Rogers mobile account, but now it's saying that you need a Rogers TV subscription. Lame. I don't recall it saying anything about that being a limited time offer.
