Game 27: Toronto Maple Leafs @ New York Rangers W4-2

Seriously? They don't call MacArthur getting pulled down in the offensive zone but call Steckel for straddling the blueline?

Man, games in MSG are ugly.

How do they have such awful camera angles after such an upgrade?

Did the commentators just say the upper bowl hasn't been renovated yet? Maybe when it's done next year the angle will be improved

I think there are more upgrades to come. They're not done. They're doing what they can while keeping the building open for hockey.

So they only get paid after games played?

Nope. Crafty CBA that it is they can get paid even if they call in sick. Which is good news for Tyler Bozak as he's totally planning on skipping a game in March for St. Pats.

So they have other obligations other than games that go into their salary, or is it the salary solely based on the 82 games?  In all seriousness - could Crosby not go to a single practice or work out all year and show up for all 82 games and still get his salary?

Not as bad, but that was a minimal play there.  If it's another player other than Rosehill I doubt it gets called.  He's beyond useless as a player though with all of his penalties.

I must have missed that comment about the upgrades not being done yet.  Thanks guys!

Also, this is nice to see:

markhmasters Mark Masters
Kessel has not been held pointless in consecutive games this season; assist on Franson goal ensures that streak continues

That's up to the Penguins, I assume. I know teams in various sports have tailored what is required of a player to that player.

But, hey, I'm with you. Let's all sing songs about rainbows and ditch work for Burning Man.

Bozak seens to be very confortable with Kessel and Lupul, he had the talent, but he is trying nice and diferent plays... last shift was the example, 2 score chances and they end up with a PP...

I certainly would consider the birth of my child pretty comparable to a hippie festival.
