Game 28: New Jersey Devils vs Toronto Maple Leafs OTL3-2

Perhaps Wilson should change up the routine in the 2nd of back to back games. Giving the guys the day off and then expecting them to work at an NHL level in the 1st period obviously is failing. This game is the opposite of last night. The Leafs are not setting the pace and they are not creating chances off the rush.... there is no rush!

Refs aren't helping but...

Thats it take another penalty seeing how our pk looks so great. Dumb penalty Liles. 4 shots on net at home against a slumping team. Amazing how we always seem to make players and teams look better. NJ's PP has been brutal, team has been slumping, Parise and Kovalchuk have been pretty quiet all year but everything seems to change against us. Wake up team and why didn't Wilson call a time out and ream these guys?

So breaking a stick is only a penalty on other teams?

Maybe it's optics but it seems like since the Leafs got out of that pseudo-slump and the PP started rising that the differential has slid in the opposite direction for the team.  I dont' get it.  Kessel gets slashed twice on a partial breakaway, no call.  Steckel gets slashed, no call.  Lupul's stick is slashed and breaks, no call (mind you this is the stupidest penalty next to the completely unintentional puck over glass penalty).  New Jersey sets picks at the blueline - fair game.

Anybody else getting these unavailable numbers calling and it's someone from Windows Service Center. Every bloody night now. Anything we can do about it?

4 shots in the period by the Leafs. Are you kidding me? People that have to go to work every day and work long hours are at the game cheering for the Leafs. People who spend a great deal on a Leafs ticket, parking etc are expecting the Leafs to play the Devils - not simply throw the uniform on and skate a few laps.

Wake up!
