Game 29: Jets @ Leafs, 7:00pm - CBC

No weak goals and probably the worst period of hockey played by a hockey team since rubber was used to forge a hockey puck, so whatever you think is fine by me.

It's not an either/or. The team can play poorly in front of him and he can also play badly. Two of those goals, arguably three, were a direct result of Scrivens' poor positional play.

No I like Reimer, I really do, just not a big fan of the softies...you???

I think Scrivens' play justified his getting pulled.

The wrap-around one was kind of weak

Was that Orr on with less than 2 minutes to play in a tie game that is pretty close to a must win?

they have to win the game of course..or the comeback means dick all.. but nice to see lupul get two goals in his firs game back...maybe kessel could do what he's paid to do and get one in the third?

The comeback means dick all anyway. It's the Jets. They suck. The Leafs put themselves in the hole. They should be lambasted for that, not applauded for digging themselves out.

well obviously i disagree... teams have bad spells ..and any team can win any game in this league ....the leafs need to stop the slide though ..4 games is more than enough ..especially in a short season..and in the past the problem for the leafs has been stopping the bleeding ..if they walk away from this game with two points..they found a way to stop the bleeding ..and i think that'll be a good thing moving forward.... but that requires them to win

Fair enough. In my view though, this isn't a bad spell. This is the Leafs coming back down to Earth. They have played (and won) many games like this all season. It wasn't sustainable.

Wrap arounds are perfectly timed and rely on a lot of luck.  JVR has a knack for them and I don't consider them a weak goal and if they are stopped it is a great save.

Dear Mr Phaneuf

On behalf of Leaf fans everywhere, can you PLEASE learn how to hit the effin net once in a blue moon? Especially when you are pretty wide open would be nice.

Thanks ever so much

So players are lucky if they score but they require a great save?
