I don't know what's going on with SOG lately but I do know that you aren't going to win tons of games when it's 3:1 in favor of the other team.

To be fair, I think after the Florida goal that the Leafs are outplaying Florida.  Kind of hard to play through the neutral zone trap.

And to be even more fair, Florida is pretty much shooting from anywhere everytime they enter the zone.  Lots of long wrist shots.

Good points, both.

Still, we need to generate more shots.

To be even fairerer, if our guys keep missing the net and one or two more of those leaks past Scrivens we're going to lose this game

Well, not to state the obvious or anything but Florida's record would kind of imply that it's not exactly an impenetrable defense.

Hmm, if we keep missing the net and they score we will lose?  You may be on to something there!

So rumour has it Miika Kippersoff won't report to his new team if he is traded. That's just low, imagine if all players did that? He should be report, geez.

What I'm getting at is that we're on the express to that happening, the skaters squatting to drop another egg in front of Scrivens.

It's really just someone quitting their job with the caveat that he can't just go out and get a new one. I don't see the problem.

Was just trying to lighten the mood.

Going through apparently complicated child birth recently it is understandable

We're good it was a bit of a captain obvious.

I wonder what the stats for Scrivens goal support are looking like these days.  He's 6-8-0 and 2.63 GAA while Reims is 11-4-4 with the exact same GAA.

Markstrom's last 3 games: .971 SV%, .978 SV%, .971 SV%
He's averaged 37 shots against in those games - the problem for the leafs is they look like they will have trouble even getting 27 shots tonight.

finally!
