Orr out on a shift? He actually did OK but couldn't someone else
double-shift???

Grabovski actually missed a shift. Kulemin went up to his line with McClement and Komarov and Orr replaced Kulemin on the Kadri line.

Gardiner got walked around and got sat.  Any chance that happens to Fraser?  I hope the honeymoon of thinking he's really sound defensively because of a solid +/- is over.

So who goes in in Fraser's spot? Holzer?

Gardiner before they ruin his career.

Fraser has been very good defensively though in many, many games.

Gardiner hasn't.

Ya I agree but that's not Gardiner's strength. Wasn't last year either. Has to improve in that area for sure but he brings so much offensively. Just don't understand how you can go from being an untouchable to not being able to crack the lineup especially with some of the guys that have played this year.

He hasn't though.  Fraser has been okay in protected minutes, but it's really because him and Franson face the weakest competition of the regular Leafs D.  I'd rather see Gardiner playing, he was no worse defensively last season, is wayyyyy better offensively, and much more a part of the future.

Don't recall Reimer's glove hand stealing too many, do you?

Enough to make me pretty sure it's much less of a problem than people like to make it out to be. He's a butterfly goalie. Players are told to shoot high glove side on butterfly goalies. Put any other non-elite butterfly goalie in the Leafs' net and people would be complaining about their glove hand. That's just how it is.

So Carlyle has juggled his lines for the final 10 minutes of the game:

MacArthur-Kadri-Orr
Komarov-McClement-Kulemin

No Grabovski.

Agreed. We should be way more focused on all of the goals that beat Reimer five-hole.

I sorry for beating a dead horse but Grabbo had better be for sitting vs Orr.

Hey. As long as he allows less goals than the Leafs score, I don't really care where they go in.

In some respects a bit of a fortunate win -- but both teams had posts and we didn't fold under pressure.  Boy, is that nice to see.
