Game 39 - Tampa Bay Lightning vs Toronto Maple Leafs W7-3

If anyone were to just blindly listen to Millen and Bowen on the replays, they've twice said Kessel bobbled the puck on the goal, when it was Connolly.

I didn't hear them but I thought it was Kessel too.

Yes, let's just let the guy who leads the league in goals wide open on a non-odd-man-rush.

I don't see how that was Kadri's fault.  Aulie was slow getting back and Phaneuf didn't take away the shot or the pass.

Kadri was on too long but I think it was Gardiner that changed with Aulie at kind of a sucky moment.

Kessel, if I got it right, bobbled the puck before that too.

Kadri was also dipty-doodling at the blue line, ignoring the fact he has team mates which is kind of the knock on  him.

I don't buy that.  He was looking for the pass on the blueline and for some reason Gardiner left his spot and started skating with him.  It took away his pass.

Kadri should be at fault for staying on the ice too long, and I was wrong on blaming Aulie, I didn't see the awful change by Gardiner.

I'd like to see the sequence again... I did however remember thinking he was being a little hotdogish when I first saw it.

Just tuning in. I must assume there's been a rash of injuries as I'm pretty sure I just saw Crabb play 40 seconds on the power play.

Do we miss Liles this much? We're standing around again.

I'd say he was a pretty integral part of the PP.

Our passes drop into slo-mo without him -- he's very good at quickly moving the puck in and out of the perimeter.

I think right when he started to skate toward the blueline he had a chance to pass it, but once he didn't do that (a minor thing before he dispy-doodled the puck) Gardiner came toward him which defeated the purpose of passing to him as it took away the benefit of passing the puck as Gardiner would have skated into Kadri.  Then when Kadri was skating parallel with the blue-line, Gardiner skated with him and left his spot which took away the ability to pass it back to him.

Roloson looks good so far, unfortunately.

And two potential penalties (possible slew foot on Gus and a trip on Grabo) get ignored. If the roles were reversed, Leafs would be two men down.

Connolly has great hands when he's passing the puck, but he seems to fumble an awful lot of shooting opportunities when his teammates pass it back to him.

Kadri cost us a goal earlier, but that was a helluva wraparound to produce the fat rebound.

Frattin - blow out those candles and a great wrap-around by Kadri.  He went for the far side there which is key as the short-side takes away the chance for a rebound.
