bustaheims said:nutman said:Weak!!!.. Are you saying the Leaf forwards are weak, wow!!!.
I think they are on the strong side. with grabs and Lupul out we still have Hamilton and Colborne, and I expect they will show up if they want to play again this season.
Ahhh, yes, the career AHLer and the rookie will make up for the two missing forwards that have each cracked the 20 goal mark numerous times in their NHL careers.
nutman said:Still on that neg downer I see. why don't you look for the good in the Leafs, so you can enjoy them instead of consistently fretting over them. I just don't know how you can enjoy watching them when all you see is the bad, and in the case of the leafs this season there in not much, but you still from day to day find it.

Not everyone that disagrees with you is being negative. Most of the time, we're just being realistic.

I would say the number are pretty comparable. Phaneuf can also hit (which he doesn't do often anymore) and is tougher then subban.

Maybe it's just me, but 1.0 ppg seems significantly different than 0.6 ppg.

I think right now Subban is probably neck and neck with Suter for the Norris.

I think even you can acknowledge that -- right now -- Colborne and Hamilton are a big step back from Grabovski and Lupul.

Grabovski is available to the #leafs tonight. Carlyle says he'll make a decision on his status later this afternoon.
Paul Hendrick @HennyTweets 1h
Reimer/ price tonight. Grabovski is a game time decision. Optional skate for the leafs so no idea about who plays untill pre game
Mark Masters @markhmasters 2h
Grabovski downplays stomach ailment; says he's good to go tonight
Jonas Siegel @jonasTSN1050 3h
Grabovski getting extra work after today's skate. As noted last night, would not be a surprise if he didn't play tonight.
Jonas Siegel @jonasTSN1050 3h
Leafs may be looking to get Grabovski some rest after recent intestinal issues, weight loss etc.
Chris Johnston @reporterchris 3h
Mikhail Grabovski is on the ice with the #leafs. Doctors in New York didn't find any problems with him.
Looks like we'll know more come game time

Markov's a good player but he's never been taken for a defensive stalwart. If we're going to filter their numbers through the offensive talent they're playing with in general I think they're roughly on par with each other.
