Ah...Borque is standing there guys....somebody might want to deal with that.

That's what I hate the most about the new league. You just don't see players getting flattened when they are standing in the oppositions crease. In the old days the guy would be on his a** either by the D or the goalltender. I don't understand why. If it's a clean hit to drive the player out of there you need to do it. No reason guys should be allowed to stand there. With some of the interference in the crease if I was a netminder I would take things into my own hands ala Billy Smith.

God, I love watching Lombardi skate.... I'd like just 2 minutes of my life to be able to do that - just to know what it feels like.

I had gone on about Lombardi not bringing anything to the table and that I thought he wasn't quite right after the year lay off.  He had looked good last game and definitely just now.  Maybe he is finally game ready.

Just got home when Bourque scored. Nice comeback goal by Lombardi. Sounds like we came out flat again by the posts. Well it's tied so hopefully a bit better the next 2 periods.

EGADS!

how fugly is that?

Is he taking part in a reenactment of some 1812 war thing later tonight or something?  Geez....

okay, so Maclean just said it was the "Robbie Burns edition of Coach's Corner?" He shoulda led off with that so we wouldn't all be sitting here thinking WTF while gouging out our own eyes.....

He's finally caught on with the whole vampire trend.

I don't know it just seemed like Borque DIDN'T skate by the net and a couple Leafs DID skate past him behind the net. Bad bounce coming back didn't help much. :/

Uh, it's Robbie Burns attire... not that it makes me agree with playing Rosehill all year long, nor that he was even sent down...

He does make it look so effortless doesn't he. Lightning on blades. Reminds me of how fast almo was for us all those years ago.
