Hard to argue with that.  I just think it would be prudent to split the starts.  It's not like Gus has been bad lately.  I'd like to see them both get work.

I'm with you. The game after the shutout streak is over, unless it's a 50+ save performance, I probably go to Gus.

Isn't it nice to be able to have this discussion?  ;D

It's great how Gus and Reims seem to get along so well and support each other. Still, poor Gus must be thinking what do I gotta do to get the starts! :)

A goaltending tag team would be interesting though. Can't wait to see what happens.

Reimer taps in Gustavsson, climbs up onto the turnbuckle and flying elbow drops Chris Neil?

It's a very nice change from what we've had since . . . well, forever.

That was great. First Saturday night game in a while I got to watch where they actually had a solid game and didn't cause anger.

Great game Reimer, glad to have you back in game shape!

I'll buy that for a dollar!

Reimer's rebound control tonight was unbelievable and that point-blank save on Spezza was fantastic. When that kid is on, he's ON.

1 NY Rangers
2 Boston
3 Florida
4 Philadelphia
5 Pittsburgh
6 New Jersey
7 Ottawa
8 Toronto
9 Washington
10 Winnipeg
11 Tampa Bay
12 NY Islanders
13 Buffalo
14 Carolina
15 Montr?al

And to cap the night the Canes have vaulted past the Habs. What more could you ask for on this night.

Ottawa's lead on the Leafs, Caps and Panthers is now less than the games in hand these teams hold. They're tied with the Devils, who have 4 games in hand.

Did anyone see Kovy's fight with Brayden Schenn this afteroon? Kovy had the Gordie Howe hat-trick.

Blashphemy, if Gus had of played tonight the Leafs would have won 9 maybe 10-0.  I still am not happy Reimer was given this start  ;).
