Game 52: Maple Leafs @ Sens 7:00pm, lets kick some Ottawa behind!

Wow, great game, so many good points.

Seems like the Leafs are still getting a lot of points from the d and the pk remains perfect this year?  :o

and even then they might finish 30th in the NHL in PK%

Well now that its working our pk is 100, and I bet where they finish dont matter, as long as they keep it near this pace.

We were watching the game at a house with a lot of people around talking etc and couldn't hear much of what was being said. I was surprised to see that Ottawa had as many shots as they are saying as it looked as if the Leafs were dominating play for most of the night.

Also, I have figured out Don Cherry's longevity. When Coach's Corner came on in the first intermission, everyone came into the room for it....and than talked right through it and over it. You couldn't hear a word he was saying.

Haha so true, I guess they just wanted to check in on what jacket he was wearing.

I was at the game last night. Pretty much anything that rolled, bounced, or fluttered its way towards Reimer was counted as a shot on goal.

Home ice advantage I guess? The Sens certainly weren't getting any help from the crowd. ;)

Did anyone see Kovy's fight with Brayden Schenn this afteroon? Kovy had the Gordie Howe hat-trick.

Yeah, Brayden got clocked, Kovalchuk is pretty tough.

So glad that Reimer got the start, like I thought he should.  He played with tremendous sharpness, was alert, and quick with his reflexes.  If he keeps playing solidly (along with Gustavvson), then the Leafs are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the goaltending department!

GO LEAFS GO!!

Yeah, that was the "lightest" 49 save performance i've ever seen.  All they did was help Reimer's save % get up to .912  Another few games like that and he'll be back to his .921 stats from last season. :)

A pretty cool thing I should add...

I went to this game, and after the game all 3 stars (Leafs- Bozak, Kessel and Reimer) came out, skated around and tossed pucks to fans lol

How often do you see the opposing team do that?
