Cole is having more trouble than usual with names.

Well, I wouldn't say more than usual.  :)

I can live with that now, he still builds excitement better than anyone.

lol - have you ever been to Tabs? I'm pretty sure the dancers at Taboo are the mothers of the dancers at Piggys. But yeah, ahhh Hull....*wipes tear*

No, never went to Taboo, but, I had a rule when it came to Hull (which was the same as my rule for the Liquordome) - don't go home with a girl you meet at a bar in Hull, she's probably 16 or younger.

See I was only around 16 myself when I was running around in Quebec <and living at mom & dads>. Hull was a war-zone back then, as soon as I turned 19 I retired.

and the difference between a save and a post..... but I guess CBC will keep him around as long as he is still breathing

Cole was good in his prime but it's getting increasingly harder listening to him fumble his way through a hockey game every time he's on.

Best part of the period was killing the two penalties and building confidence and momentum from there. The Sens are a 3rd period team so the game is far from over.

Fair enough. I was already in university by the time I ended up on Ottawa, so, from time to time, we ended up in Hull because someone was only 18 and didn't have a good fake.

This. As long as the Habs aren't playing (because, man, is he a Habs homer), he's by far the best guy CBC has in terms of creating atmosphere and excitement. Sure, he gets the names wrong sometimes or mistakes a puck off the post for a save or whatever, but every play by play guy does that.

I like how Cherry gave the props to Wellwood for his good season.  How can Cherry be for putting the red line back in?  He was one of the people that wanted it out.  If we put the red line back in, the trapping era will return.

They need to do something about the linesmen throwing guys outta the circle all the time. I find it hard to believe that on 1/2 the faceoffs you need to throw out a guy.
