Game 6 - Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins L6-2

Say what you will about Komisarek but that may be one of the worst defensive plays I've seen in the past couple years and maybe be THE most pathetic display of "boxing-out" I've ever seen. Franson could use some time at Ricoh

Agreed, Kelly would have been on his ass if that was Komisarek instead of Franson.

The Leafs bad habits are finally hurting them on the scoresheet.  There's no excuse for coming out asleep game after game.

I expected the Bruins to come out hard even though we scored first they have dominated and could be up even more. I feel for Gus defence is horrible in front of him but the achilles heel of this team is you know what. Game after game.

Poor Gustavsson. Barely done a thing wrong and 3 have gone by him.

No, not to blame at all.  He's looked pretty sharp so far.
They really need to step for him - he's had it tough enough from a confidence perspective already.

Look at what you have all sunk to - pining for Komisarek.  ;D

Komisarek would have made him chew lumber or composite or whatever, right after he got the half first shot off on Goose.

Komi has been better than Franson and Schenn by a long shot this year.  There's no way he should be out of the line-up.

Ahhh no biggy. They are waking up. The Leafs will look better come the 3rd.
The boys in front are running around stupid. Wilson will straighten it out.

Gustavsson gets screwed every time he starts it feels like.

Now, you're starting a chicken or egg debate . . . does Gustavsson get screwed or does Gustavsson starting screw with the team?

That's the million dollar question.

Gus is not the problem. He is perfectly capable. If Reimer was in net the score would not be any different.

Well, Komi did have an interesting night last night. He wasn't without his lapses against the Jets.

It's hard to tell this year, since the team has really only had one game where they started well, but, I tend to lead towards it being the team having less confidence in Gustavsson than Gustavsson getting screwed. I just don't think they're comfortable with him in there. Whether it's a reflection on his play last year, the way he's reacted to mistakes in the past or something else, I don't know, but the team definitely has seemed to play better in front of other goalies for the past season+.

On a slightly positive note Kadri has been an impact player in the first frame, feels like this time he could be ready to be a solid and productive consistently . and Frattin has continued to be solid

So we've got that going for us.... which is nice
