Game 65: Maple Leafs @ Les Habs 7:00pm - The New Era ?

Isn't it refreshing to have a coach who is walking the bench talking to everyone and trying to actually motivate?
That was one of my biggest peeves about RW, he just stood there and said "lets go". You can see RC walking and barking away. Exactly what a good coach does and what this team needed in the worst way.

I also haven't seen our fourth line matched up against the habs first line either ;)

Jesus Gus....

Agreed!  This team needs a whole lot of psychological healing - I don't really mind if they don't make the playoffs as long as they are a confident bunch at the end of 18 games going into next season.

Their positional play is what needs to improve and I think over time Carlyle will address that. Frattin on that play was nowhere near the point on his man.

Man, Gus is making it hard for me to defend him.  He looks like a head case out there.

As soon as i saw gloves on the ice i instantly wondered who Brownie was scrapping. God i love how he fights without a thought when it is needed.
That man is all heart and knuckles.

Nice fight Brown. :)
Phaneuf was hard checked on the end boards and Brown stepped in. I liked. If they can find a way to hit hard without take so many penalties or they may learn some PK, its a plus.

That clip they just showed there is exactly what myself and many others have been asking for... a coach that works on the fly and actually trys to fix issues and does it right away.

RC talking to his asst and then luke about how he wants things changed/fixed is a prime example of why i personally think he will be a huge step up from wilson.
