That third line looks intriguing to me, could do some damage. ( hopefully the right kind :) )

I don't know, I think Steckel is becoming slowly overrated because of his faceoff success. I really haven't seen too much out of him besides that. Granted, it's only one game, but it's too bad we didn't have the roster room to give Colborne a shot there.

Now THAT could be an exciting line.  ;D

IMO the Kessel line is the top line, always has been always will be. Mac and the USSR Line is garbage so far.

Well, "top line" usually means best.  It wasn't the best of the leafs lines last year.  Not even really all that close to the Grabbo line.

What I was thinking there was, first off, puck possession off the draw in the offensive zone, decent checking/defensive awareness with Frattin and a speedy passer/offensive minded player in Kadri plus both of those kids should be looking to take advantage of their opportunity.

Sure I agree that Steckel hasn't shown a lot past supreme face off skills but with those two on the wings that could be the difference.

Speaking of Colborne, I just posted in the Marlies thread that he got another 3 points today, he's up to 10P (4G, 6A) in 5GP.

I'm really fond of the idea of putting 'Big Steck' right infront of the net on the PP. nobodys moving him. Kinda like Byfuglien in Chicago three playoffs ago

Might be a bit early to say but I had a feeling people were writing off his offensive ability by looking at his Providence numbers.
