Game 73: MAPLE LEAFS @ BRUINS 7:00PM TV: SNET-O

Maybe Kessel will step up and play a big game against his old team. Kinda like Grabo does against the Habs.

And maybe the Vatican will call and beg me to be the next pope.  :P

I know it's different watching the game but as soon as I saw Gardiner pass that behind the net to Luke and I saw the 2 Bruin forecheckers head towards him I thought why didn't he pass it back to Jake behind the net. With the Bruin checkers heading towards the blueline Jake would have had more time to do something with it. Instead it's the usual Luke f'up and gets us behind the 8 ball early in the game.

I doubt Kessel will ever have much impact playing this Bruins team.  They're designed pretty much perfectly to counter his game.

Imagine if we had made the playoffs and been matched up against Boston.

Maybe tanking is better.

My all too familiar night as a Leaf fan:
1. Turn on the game just in time to see the Leafs get scored on (within about 10 seconds, I swear this happens to me all the time)
2. Minimize game browser.. surf the internet. (the game will be closed as soon as I find something with audio that I want to see/hear)
3. The Bruins scored again while I was typing this.. it's being closed now.

Boston could put cardboard cut out of Thomas in their net and we wouldn't know it because we hadn't had shot yet

Lazy play by Liles there. No excuse for that.

You have to give him the offseason to regroup and clear his head but he has been nothing but brutal since coming back from injury.  4 point in 22 games for a guy who is inept defensively at the best of times.  3 of them have come on the PP (that has tanked since he came back too).  So he is providing absolutely nothing 5 on 5 whatsoever.

Well, I was watching a movie but paused it cos I'd forgotten the game was coming on (DST clock change means games start at 11pm for a couple of weeks instead of midnight). Think I can safely return to my movie now.
