0-6 this season against the Bruins, topped off by an 8-0 loss, but let's look at the positives!!

Zee, we suck right now, you know it, I know it.

You don't go into every thread and make a wise ass comment about how badly we suck though and you also usually have insightful contributions even when we win, that's my point.  There is venting and then there is trolling when we are losing, there are a handful of them that have infiltrated this place and it is a shame, because it makes some great threads from some top notch contributors, unreadable.

It's sad but this team and organization is just an embarrassment at this point. The trolls are laughing it up because Burke talks a big game and everything had backfired on him. He's talked about his truculent team which is non existent, has gone on about how great the Leafs were with Phaneuf in the lineup, how do those quotes look now?  If this was the Habs or Sens I'd be laughing it up right at them, that's what fans of other teams do.

Hmm... Detroit pulls to within one, 4-3 with 7 minutes left. Interesting. Seems like the Caps don't want to do anything easily either. :)

That's way too much hope for my liking.  ;D

It's a deceivingly big number, because, really, it only represents 5 regulation decisions. The Leafs could potentially be eliminated by this time next week.

The positive for me is I have Tim Thomas in my hockey pool and the Leafs just handed him a shutout on a silver platter. It's funny, I'm playing a huge Bruins fan this week and I was yelling at the TV for Toronto not to score at the end of the game and he was praying that they'd bury one.

Just watched the Komi fight. I really, really wish he wasn't such a terrible hockey player. Good on him for dropping the gloves.

I suppose I should be glad I had to work tonight? Hubby PVR'd this one for me, but judging by your comments throughout this GDT, maybe I'll just spend the time playing online games instead......then I won't have to say, like you guys did, 'there's three hours of my life I'll never get back'

yikes

On the brightside though...well...I mean...at least...in the long run...uh...in the grand scheme of things...it probably hurts Ottawa?

We beat Ottawa and lost to Bruins ha ha! No division lead for them!!

If it was not for the Leafs, Boston would not be in the playoffs now.

Beyond Rask, Seguin and (soon) Hamilton, we have given them 12 points this year.

Could we please just tank from here on in?

Good for him for taking those Tyson-like upper cuts to the jaw. Totally worth 22.5 million.

Sure, if you take away 12 points from the Bruins, but how realistic is it to sweep a season series and win all 6 games?  If the Leafs had won all 6 against the Bruins, the Leafs would be in the playoffs and the Bruins wouldn't, ifs and nuts were candies and buts...

This game was a laugh.  Not that they lost, but how is more like it.  Incredible at how the goaltenders were totally not alert, especially Reimer (on the first few goals).  Looking one way while the puck and (opposing) player are on the other.  What ineptitude displayed by the goaltenders last night!
