The Leafs went on an f-ing linechange with the puck in the neutral zone.  Horrendous goal by Gustavsson but this team is so incredibly stupid.

It was a horrible change but I thought that was a tough shot.

Hey, at least the Leafs have as many shots as Bruins' goals now... *sigh*

Maybe, it wasn't an absolute rocket of a shot and it was from pretty far out.  Gus has a decent glove hand (even if he doesn't hold on to the puck all the time).  I think it was kind of stinky but in a 7-0 game I have a hard time getting too upset at the goaltender coming off the bench to play target practice.

The tough part was the placement, it's hard to get your glove hand up over your shoulder like that but yeah, it's not like the team has done a single thing tonight to give James or Jonas support.

6 million dollars tied up in the front office. MLSE needs to clean house.

What's your investment on that figure?

You need to seriously assess whether or not you really want to be a Leaf fan.

Seriously.  Just stop watching.  We won't miss you.

I think this might top the 6-shot game against the Devils in 2000 playoffs as the most embarrassing Leaf game I've ever seen.  At least in that one we didn't get lit up.

I'll say it to the end of time: we had more than 6 shots that game.  Not many more, mind you, but more.  That was shot clock homerism at its worst by NJ.  I remember that game clearly and no way was it just 6.

None of this detracts from your point, however.  That was the most embarrassing Leafs game I can remember, but at least it was against a world-class defensive team.  This piece of garbage tonight is comparatively meaningless.

It doesn't add cap hit but it should add embarrassment for the terrible product they have put on the ice with the highest-paid office in the business

I tell you, I have to admire the core group of people who post here.  It's been an incredibly long time since we've had anything truly positive to talk about -- instead we get Groundhog Day the Sequel the Sequel the Sequel the Sequel every year -- and still here we are.

Either that makes us the most pathetic group of people in the world or the most intrepid.

Here Fricking Here.  At the very least stop with the 100% negative posting ratio. It has already gotten old and fast. I can't recall one single positive post out of him whatsoever. hell at least the GDT troll who by and large only posts " we stink dudes " has a flip side and a " we rule dudes " ( and no i'm not razzing the GDT troll at all ) I gave him his nickname in good fun after all.

And just think, we get to do this all over again in LESS THAN 24 hours!

"Leafs trailing 7-0 but playing much better here in the 3rd period!"  says the Leafs play-by-play guy brightly.

And I'll be here.  I've got more pride in the team than anybody who actually wears the sweater.  ::)

ditto

I really wished this was the last game of the season. No way can Burke spin this, right?

"We were the best team in the league for the first 2 minutes"

"If we we don't let in any goals and we score a goal we win that game"

Komisarek's specialty right there.  Bruins cycle the puck around a tire the Leafs out.  Komisarek gets a block and has all the time in the world.  He haphazardly backhands the puck down the ice for an icing.  Someone needs to take the blade off his stick.
