that's almost as good as my face palm bears :)

Tigger, It means stop making excuses for crappy goalies.

As for Allaire, it's his stupid style of going down way too friggin early, dropping to one knee leaving the far side wide open instead of squaring up to the shooter, and just generally taking the athleticism away from the position that has seen so many goals like that go in this season.

If you want to see what a real goalie plays like, just watch the guy in the white jersey.

Hot damn They blowed up real good!

Gustavsson praying that the puck doesn't come near the goal. On his knees before the puck even gets within 10ft.
The hockey gods were not listening.

You mean the guy who plays basically the same style, but has better instincts and ability? Clearly, the fact that Ward basically plays the style Allaire preaches but with better tools is an example of why Allaire sucks.

Allaire preaches a blocking style. Make yourself as big as possible and play percentages. They are basically giving up the top of the net. Ward is a butterfly goalie but he is much more reactionary.

At any rate, Allaire hasn't been able to do anything with our goalies, and if he bears no responsibility for that, then you'd have to acknowledge that our goalies suck, in which case there shouldn't be any excuses made for them.

Hey, these chevrons go on for miles... ;)

I really was just asking a question originally and didn't understand blaming Allaire for it.
