Leafs sign two prospects from Ontario this week and neither merits a mention on HNIC intermission. Guess they're not important...to some

Couldn't agree more.

Naaah, they're just AHL fodder right now, the crime was not mentioning calling up two from Ontario at one go, Kadri and Hamilton...  ;)

Jeez Healy just can't bring himself to say anything other than anti Leaf comments can he?

Not "Good goal Phil", it's "He wouldn't have scored if Myers was there."

Who is the team that's going to the net and getting a couple saves?

I kid but I'm happy to see them spoil the moment for Buffalo.

Pad those stats Phil, now is the time...

I'm a little torn. I'd rather see the Sabres make the playoffs than the Sens.

This is what it has come down to for me as a Leaf fan....I cheer against teams.

Does Brian Burke speak french? ;)

Curious, I hadn't heard any serious consideration for not allowing teams to bury players in the minors in the next CBA.

And who makes the call on that? Whether someone is in the minors because they are being 'buried' or simply because they weren't good enough to make the team?

Good point. I suppose certain 'types' of contracts could be labelled as 'cap' contracts but it sure sounds weird.
