Is he not considered to have made the BIG SAVE when they needed it? What if he makes big saves but the team plays a style that requires him to basically continue to make big saves all game? Not to mention it seems like something that would have different connotations and definitions to different people.
To me it seems like a way to try and justify getting rid of a good goalie when the tangible stats tell you it's the wrong move.

A league executive thinks there is a Phil Kessel trade to be made this offseason.
?I think they?ll be able to deal him, but I don?t think they?re going to get back as much as they think they can get for him,? said the executive.
The Leafs would likely have to take back a bad contract in a Kessel trade. Would think that interested teams would include the Predators, Sharks, Islanders and Sabres.

The best thing about that post is that a bunch of Russian outlets have ran with the story (and cited TLN) as if it were a real thing.
Leafs are in the hunt anyway.... I have no info on this guy other than what I can look up.
