Martin Brodeur hasn't had a SV% >.910 since 2009-2010. He has a .904 SV% over the past 4 seasons (his best over that stretch was .908).
Unless the Leafs have interest in Brodeur as a goalie coach, I'm just baffled...well I'm not really but it's a bad move regardless. Even if Brodeur wanted to play for the league minimum, it's a terrible move.
I don't care about Reimer's save percentage. It's meaningless without wins.
So, hypothetically speaking, you would take a goalie with an .880 SV% who is 10-0 over a goalie with a .920 SV% who is 0-10 then?
That's how Fuhr got into the hall of fame!
