Put Orr in the starting line-up and good things will happen.Stickytape said:Looking ahead, the Leafs play Montreal on March 1st. Could wind up being a huge game, as by then Montreal will have played the 2 games they have in hand. Feels like forever from now, though.

It really does. It's just the part where we paid Grabovski to leave that still stings. (I miss the General, too.)

Did MLSE ask you to pay the bill?

That's it for McKegg already? Kid only played 3:43. Sure, he was 1/6 on faceoffs, but I'd like to think Carlyle is above dressing a player just to take 6 faceoffs.
...
Who am I kidding, that sounds exactly like Carlyle.

@DavidAlter590
Carlyle also added that Holland, Ashton and Smith will not play tomorrow.

Don't even know the point of calling McKegg up if that's what's going to happen. What can you learn in that amount of time with the big club that is going to be useful for your development? Don't think it's a big deal, but also don't see the point in going to the effort.

My guess is that it was in the hope that one of the injured players would be able to be back for tomorrow's game. McKegg could safely travel up and down without waivers, whereas Smithson could not. In fact, Smithson being brought up makes me think that we won't see any of the injured players before the Olympics.
