Willy played on like 5 different line combos and drove all of them into the OZ for chances.

Tavares and Marner and their assortment of wingers (and McCabe-Tanev of course) really held the Eichel line in check to let the Marlies and Willy run.

I still think Domi is a good winger beside Matthews and you can shift Marner or Nylander down to the 3rd line, stuff Matthews line in the ozone and have a lot of good offense and defense.

And I’m skeptical Minten will last in the NHL.

I believe this shot went High Five Hole. Hill was playing it VH to give himself a chance to push off to his right in case there was a pass (similar to Marner’s OT winner). The puck clips the top chunk of Hill’s left pad and deflects down and through.

With all the injuries, I thought they played pretty well defensively.
They shut out the 4th best offense in the league.
Grebenkin & Minten both contributed in their first NHL games (this season for Minten)

Leafs showed more Florida Panther vibes last night.... with some dirty in your face play, including WWE moves, and relentless forechecking, backchecking to neutralize the opposition.

Prior seasons were more about paychecking.

I even saw Marner lay a hard hit in the OZ and Tavares got into an aggressive rumble. WTF?

I thought everyone looked good last night including 89, minus those 2, 3rd period turnovers. That's the best the bottom 6 has looked all season for me and I'd like to see more of it for now.
