I am a bit worried about Nylander.  Maybe he's conserving for the big show but he also looks like he's backsliding.

Didn't get the results, for sure, but there were a few times tonight where the puck looked like it was stuck to his stick.

Oh well, they played well.  Bounces back from the early 5 on 3 to get back in the game.  Play like that and win more than you lose.

Agree. Wish we could have gotten the point but oh well.

Too few. And if you don't have it going on O you need to play excellent D. Not good enough from him. I think he'll get it going though.

The good thing about any struggling player is that there is still a lot of time before the playoffs.  I'd be interested in seeing if Nylander O'Rielly are a fit when he comes back.  I don't know that Nylander needs a pass first guy like him necessarily but I like Ryan's defensive game more than Tavares

That was the best I've seen from the Leafs all year, everyone seemed to be doing their jobs in spades which wasn't enough because TO lost but TO playing like that shouldn't lose very often no matter the opposition.

I've been less than impressed by McCabe and his ill advised swat at the puck in the 1st that resulted in a penalty, ultimately a goal but he appeared to be trying to make up for his stupidity for the rest of the game and looked good doing it.

Goaltending probably could've been better or TO's mistakes were just that bad, whatever, more of that effort will make TO hard to beat , now and into the playoffs.
