I called my financial guy too, awaiting a call back, he is probably busy this morning...I sold all my stocks in order to ride this out. I'm old and can't afford the losses right now, especially with the kids' RESP
If I was younger I would just ride this out, but as I'm getting up there, I need to make sure all my gains aren't totally wiped out in a month, I expect some crazy fluctuations in the market the next little while so I'll be sitting on the sidelinesI called my financial guy too, awaiting a call back, he is probably busy this morning...

If nothing else, Ford knows how to be vindictive. Normally that's a bad trait, but when dealing with that moron Trump it's very good. What kind of world am I living in where I find myself on the same side as Doug Ford? Wtf is going on?
Broken clock, blah blah blah. What kind of world am I living in where I find myself on the same side as Doug Ford? Wtf is going on?
All they did was offer 10,000 troops at the border. Seriously? We've just spent $1B on border security. He then rambled on about American banks not being able to do business in Canada. For Canada it's so obviously not about border security when he's calling us the 51st state.Mexico has managed a one-month pause...
He has no actual plan, so, he's constantly shifting goal posts. Between that and the things he gets obsessed over for whatever reason, we have the chaos of his administration in full force already. All they did was offer 10,000 troops at the border. Seriously? We've just spent $1B on border security. He then rambled on about American banks not being able to do business in Canada. Yea, it is just so maddening....Deals were willfully signed by each nation...And the USA benefits HUGELY from us.The whining, lies, ignorance, hate, and just downright stupidity has reached such a level that I can't believe this is actually reality right now.Honestly I can’t help but laugh at this asinine ‘treated us fairly’ narrative. Trade has never been in Canada’s favour. Ever.
"Election day, was I happy this guy won? One hundred per cent I was," Ford said. "But then the guy pulled out the knife and f--king yanked it into us."
Hey never mind, when we get a 20kg bag of rice, it lasts a long time.I love that ford has already whipped out the attack ads on Trudeau.
And just like that, drug dealer ford is back.
Speaking of which, this made me laugh:
Figures from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) show the agency seized 19.5 kilograms of fentanyl at the northern border last year, compared to 9,570 kilograms at the southwestern one.
Good thing we had a ‘fentanyl czar’ now to curb those whopping 20kg of fentanyl that the Canadian based Mexican cartels are producing.
I think he's moved on that from that honestly. He's stopped referring to Trudeau as "Governor Trudeau" and actually called him Prime Minister in his latest post. He just wanted to take credit for the border security initiatives that were already announced back in December, because you know, he wasn't president when they said that. He's like a child, you tell him he won something and he's easily pacified. All they did was offer 10,000 troops at the border. Seriously? We've just spent $1B on border security. He then rambled on about American banks not being able to do business in Canada. For Canada it's so obviously not about border security when he's calling us the 51st state.
