Also, it would be the end of his movement. We’d need similar representation as California and a typical election here sees 55+% of the votes go to leftwing parties. He shouldn’t actually want it.

That’s assuming this ‘dear 51st’ state even gets to vote. That’s also assuming there will actually be another election.

As a state, we’d get votes. If we’re a territory, we wouldn’t - but, also no way we’d accept that willingly. Taking Canada unwillingly would come with even more negative consequences for Trump and the US in general.
