He's going to have to put up some points eventually for me to say that but I like his effort.  Big enough body.  I don't know if he's fast or he just moves his feet really well.  The effort is great

I'd be curious how he'd look higher up the lineup for a shift or two.
I think he's adapted to his role as a shutdown guy first and foremost. I think he could  succeed going in an offensive line.
 
If the score stays this way I am going to have to give the MotM to Samosonov.  He's throwing a technical shutout.

Matthews hasn't had a bad shift this game but yeah, Samsonov has been exceptional

He and Holmberg have been good stories this year. It's good see something worthwhile draw in from the AHL
