Craig Simpson said they spoke with the decision room at the intermission and that was their rationale...yeah.  The NHL is really incompetently run.
 
Willy's kind of cold at the moment.  That wasn't a great shot when Connor's sitting on his Hellebutt.

I think I would have been happier to not hear that explanation.
 
This is Brodie's best game of the year.  Earlier he got one out 1 on 3 and then that block.
 
Oh cool...so the linesman doesn't call a blatant icing and the Leafs end up with a penalty

Leafs have played a great game so far. All over them until the penalties. Hopefully they'll get a PP in the 3rd.
