Kings @ Leafs - Dec. 19th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

I couldn't be happier for Bernier. We all talk about these guys like they're nothing, but man, that must've felt great for that poor guy. Great job tonight.

Isnt it great to be at this point, where this team looks like it gives a s__t and that Babcock is getting thru to these guys and instilling a never say die feeling.  Who cares about the standings, its the effort that counts.
Makes the pain of last year seem very bittersweet but it is drifting away.

Montreal 2-7-0 in December

Early Xmas present for all of us which is great to see. Shut up all the Habs fans. Said it before say it again, Price is that team. Nice to see their scoring back to how it was last year as well and Bergevin did nothing to address it. Didn't think their scoring was to continue the way the season started. Gallagher missing doesn't help but I still think they need something else. Anyway nice to see the collapse so far this month. Schedule ain't going to get any easier also with all road games rest of the month and some tough games. 2-12 for December. Let's hope.

They've been .500 team since they started the season 9-0. They can't win consistently without Price - though, it doesn't help that their backups have been pretty bad.

Great confidence-boosting win, more for Bernier than even for the Leafs.  Happy for him.  Must have been a relief to get the win and put an end to the negatives of his losing skid.  Great job by the whole team, too!

Way to go!

I don't know if there are many teams in the league, heck in any league, that could win consistently if you took a MVP level player off the roster without a real replacement. Especially one at that important a position.

Either way, Montreal being average or not, Dallas is doing this to everyone. They're getting some separation at the top in a nightmare of a division.
