They should replace Craig Simpson with Jim Ralph.  He just gave a nice explanation of why the Leafs are doing a good job of standing up at the blue line.

I understand what the league is trying to accomplish with these types of calls.  But the number of these "cheapy" calls are really ticky-tack.  There should be more leeway on little love taps.

Some of the calls today in the Sweden-Switzerland WJC game were perfect examples of how lame they can be.  Especially at critical points in the game too.  I don't mind the whistles being put away the tighter or more important the game gets, save for egregious no doubters.
