Sounds like they are playing a great lockdown 3rd.

Staying above the puck and swarming the carrier that gets through the NZ clog.

Joe called Jones' performance "workmanlike" so I take it that it's been a team-D effort.

Everybody who thought Leafs would manhandle the Kings, raise your hand.  Or raise your head from its pillow.

Solid win they dominated the 1st half sat back a bit but didn't really give up much. Kind of hockey that wins in April. Jones was solid. Beating LA is no small feat and shutting them out on their ice is quite the achievement.

Bowen & Ralph: Best Leafs defensive effort of the season, made it easy for Jones ? he was never under siege.

Big time play kill by Marner to body his man off the puck and get a chance for the empty
Marner  had a great game...made some nice defensive plays.
Great road game and win.

Yep didn't pot the points but great defensively and when you notice that without scoring that's saying something. Team first and foremost have to be better defensively and that's everyone and if they can keep playing like this the points will come and the results as well. See ya tomorrow.

Bottle the effort and uncork as needed in the future.

Entire postgame panel of Nylander haters having to talk about him positively is soul renewing.
