Man I hope so.

Well, his agent might be but Leo himself definitely isn't. The Finnish World Championship team just got home to Finland yesterday evening and Komarov was a part of that team. I doubt he flew straight to Canada after just getting here, especially since he said he'll need some rest at home now after a long season. Having said that - I, too, hope that Komarov returns to the Leafs next season. He is exactly the type of player you need for the bottom 6 if the money is right.

Signing him would be the right thing to do, but, and a big but is.. were talking about the leafs here. So don't get your hopes up.

It's official: they've broken the nutman.

I'd love to see a line of Bolland, Kulemin and Komarov.

Would look good for the entire 30-35 games that Bolland is healthy for.

Well, that's not exactly the most inspiring record of health, but, there's also the fact that he's only played 2 seasons where he didn't miss at least 20 games (or, in the case of the 12/13 lockout shortened season, the equivalent percentage of the season). Expecting him to miss a significant portion of the season is more than reasonable, even if Zee is being a little hyperbolic.

I think expecting him to miss 20'ish games is reasonable (so a 60 game season) which isn't great but is still 75% of the year he would be playing... beyond that it's a bit like expecting Carlo Colaiacovo type bad luck. Possible? Yes. Likely? Only Carlo is that unlucky.

Just give Holland his minutes and be done with him. He's been built up into something he's not by management and the media.

We're not. We've already got Lupul for that.
