Leafs 2015/2016 Schedule in 10 game chunks

So, an interesting trend . . . rest of the season after a West Coast swing . . .

11/12 - 6-13-4
12/13 - no West Coast trip
13/14 - 2-12-0
14/15 - 7-22-3
15/16 - ??? 0-1-0 so far.

4-10-3 since coming back from the West Coast swing. It really has been a killer for the Leafs when they've already been pretty bad.

Also, now 8 wins in 33 games against the East (4 via shootout). 1 win against divisional opponents.

The next three games are winnable dammit. :'(

Nashville and Carolina are both fighting for their playoff lives. A game against a bottom-feeder like the Leafs will almost be seen as must-win games for them.

Montreal OTOH...

Lou is trying to fix that with some more pre-deadline day dumps.  Back end is worse now without Polak.

Right before the deadline, though. Roster could be even more stripped down by then, and guys could be sitting so they don't get hurt. That game could be two hilariously terrible teams facing off against each other.

I'm hopeful for 2 Leafs' losses prior to the Montreal game, just so I can cheer heartily for a win without upsetting the Tank.

Will be fun to watch that Saturday game if for nothing else to hear the pundits start their trade-deadline-day preshow.  They may as well broadcast for 72 hours leading up to it.

My perfect draft scenario would be for Edmonton to finish last and then they lose 3 spots on the draft... some poetic justice, or Karma...

It's astounding to me that the Leafs can have this bad of a chunk, and still be out-tanked by the Oilers.

Only truly winnable one is against the Sabres so the tank progresses nicely, nicely, thank you, thank you

I'm thinking this young squad will gel faster than expected. I  believe they may have us tankers pulling our hair out down the stretch.

*Lets just hope they paid Bernier enough to properly play his 'role' to finish off this season, and to permanently keep his mouth shut about it. Lol 8)
