Leafs @ Bruins - Nov. 9th, 7:00pm - CBC, SN 590

I think Boston took a step back this season with their cap moves. Ference really tied their whole defence together and gave them a solid 1 through 6. Now there's some holes there to exploit on the blueline. Peverely was a key part to their 3rd line and he's been replaced essentially by rookies. And I think an aging Iginla for Horton is a step down too. Seguin for Eriksson too in my opinion. Plus Chara ain't getting any younger.

They're definitely still a top team with Krejci and Bergeron down the middle and Rask in net, but as a whole they aren't as good as they once were.

Yes, sometimes I think you can over tinker, if that makes any sense.

mirtle: Reimer vs Rask in goal. Scratches tonight: Rielly, Liles, Orr for Leafs. Caron, Bartkowski for Bruins.

The Leafs are either going to play their best game of the season tonight or they're going to be an absolute disaster. I don't think there's much chance of it falling in between.

I get that feeling also, but I also think that Kadri is going to show up. I don't know why I feel that way, I just do...

For tonight's game, I'd be interested in playing like this:

JVR-McClement-Kessel
Lupul-Kadri-Clarkson
Raymond-Smithson-Kulemin
  McLaren-Smith-Ashton

(Not possible but whatever)

My Game Center feed seems to be lacking a commentary track, just arena noises.

Interesting way to watch the game without the likes of Healy to tell me what to think

So the answer to the question of which Leafs show up...not the good ones.

Also, Fraser is really bad at handling the puck and standing still and letting his man get away.  I don't get the appeal.

Sorry, where can this be found? I would much rather listen to that than the cbc feed.

Like somebody said earlier, we need to chip it high and out instead of always trying to go up the boards.  Loosen up their pinching D a bit.
