Leafs @ Bruins - Nov. 9th, 7:00pm - CBC, SN 590

Face-offs were not too one-sided at first glance:

BOS 36 - TOR 32

But the guys the bruins rely heavily on in key situations were doing there usual thing
Bergeron      14/23 61%
Krejci            13/19 68%

The leafs:
McClement    8/15 53%
Lupul            1/4  25%
JVR              6/14  43%
Smithson      9/18 50%
Kulemin        1/1
Kadri            7/15 43%
Clarkson        0/1

Pretty good effort for the most part last night. A good road game minus the victory. Cant win 'em all, but I wasn't too disappointed with the loss under the circumstances. Again, this Leaf team is learning to adjust on the fly, and matches up pretty well with almost every team they've played so far. All good signs.

From what I saw they played pretty well, a much more encouraging effort than some of their wins over the last 3 weeks.

Should make Orr a center, he's 100% on face-offs!  :)

Pvr'd the third period. I hate blaming anything on the referees, but there were at least four headshots not called in that period. The one where Chara basically punched Lupul in the face was the worst because it was so obvious.

This team really misses Bozak and Bolland.
I don't think you'll find any sympathy from Marc Savard and the Bruins.

Actually, I think you'd find someone like Marc Savard would prefer to see contact with the head called more often, in the hopes to limiting the potential for someone else to be not he receiving end of the hits that ended his career.
