Kulemin trips Grabovski. I'm sure they'll have a laugh about that when they're successful linemates somewhere next season.

Millen got a nice little jab in at Grabovski there.

What'd he say? I literally can't watch SN/LeafsTV broadcasts anymore.

Millen noted that if Grabovski feels like he is being pushed he will go down really easy.

Which he oddly never noted during his time in Toronto!

I thought we were dressing face punchers, not punching bags.

Yeah,  Orr used to fight like McGratton and Scott but now fights like Andre Deveaux and Zach Stortini.

If we need to dress a guy to fight at Orr's level then they might as well put Bodie in there cause he can skate and score the odd goal while getting punched in the face like Orr just did.

Understand why Phaneuf wanted no part of Erskine. Would have got his a** whooped.

Yeah, Phaneuf would have been KO'd most likely.  Phaneuf plays a good tough game but has never been able to fight similar to Komisarek and Orpik.

You're preaching to the choir. I think Bodie is the perfect 4th liner for the club.

Also, its a bit sad that Ashton feels he has to be beaten up on every callup to impress. He used to have more skill to his game in junior.

No, Greg, there is no connection between "breaks" and how hard you work.

I don't know. I think there is some, but, it's not some magical thing or anything. When you work hard, you generally find yourself in better position to take advantage of the opportunities you're given. You get more "breaks" when you work harder, because you create more opportunities and you're actually able to do something productive with them.

The puck hitting the post like that, though, largely luck, though, it looked to me like it might have glanced of Bernier's jersey, which might have helped it change directions jsut enough so that it didn't bounce off the post and in.

Millen's comment came after this.  That's what he was referring to, and what I was, too.

The rest of your point is right on the mark.

oops! my bad!!

Now, there's a good example of what I'm talking about.  We work hard, and then a fluke goal AGAINST us.
