I'd be very curious to see what the Devils could turn Hall into if they decide to sell off assets and rebuild.
Or like Vanouver, they're at with the Sedins where we were in the final year with Mats, just farting around in the mushy middle. They can't start a proper rebuild through the draft until they move what's left of their assets so they bottom out.

Do the Sedins agree to move separately or does a team have to take them both on?  That might really limit their value due to the cap hit of taking them on.

Ummm what the heck was that?

It occurred to me that "that" is what always seems to happen "to" the leafs and never "for" the leafs.

When you're finally on the other end of a gong play, you know the franchise is turning around.

I know this doesn't have any real basis in reality, but really, it is true.  Was thinking the same thing.  (I'm picturing Bernier from a couple of seasons ago .... ?)

In my humble opinion it ain't happening. They make too much and I don't think Linden and co. have the stones to be ruthless like Lou and eat contract or play hardball. Plus I don't think there's the full mandate from above for the scorched earth rebuild yet in Vancouver. Probably not until the Sedins play out their contract. Reminds me of Calgary's final Iginla years. I totally understand a dude wanting to play out his contract in the city where he's played so long and not be a rental player. If there's Cup motivation guys will move, but Europeans can be a little bit different.

Retain 50% on both of them and you get 2 Sedins for the price of one.

The refs voided a clear penalty for unknown reasons (I'm assuming the score) but that's hilarious....

Someone should put this together with identical images of F. Andersen.

Maybe I'm just cranky but Polak and partner are atrocious, two Leafs have been clipped with high sticks and no calls and Bozak is awful in his own end.

It's amusing listening to Millen reflect on the infallibility of the NHL referees while at the same time ripping on European referees.

Naz's old man with the sweet snap-shots.

Love the delayed reaction on bottom-right dad. He's waiting for the review.

So how is a guy getting pulled down from behind that prevents a shot, not a penalty shot?  I have no idea what the league is doing with their officials.
